Getting ready for the big celebration!

There was so much to do to get ready for our Easter celebration at Nannie & Grandpa’s house! We had to dye Easter eggs, decorate the bunny cake, & get ready for Mommy’s picture marathon…

Ben liked coloring eggs for about 5 seconds…

… but he was much more into destroying them & eating them…

Waiting for the eggs to get dark enough was hard to do…

… but it was worth the wait! They turned out beautiful!

We LOVE making the bunny cake with Nannie every year! This time, she let us decorate the whole thing by ourselves!

 

Before Mommy took about 1,000 pictures, we enjoyed getting ready in Nannie’s bathroom!

Easter day fun!

We woke up on Easter Sunday at 5:30am, and went to see the sunrise at the ocean with Nannie & Grandpa. When we got back, it was time to open our Easter baskets!

After breakfast, we enjoyed an awesome egg hunt in the yard with our cousin Liam! He was a bit happier doing the hunt than he was for taking Easter pictures…

After that, we enjoyed the beautiful day with some kite flying, tire swinging & motorcycle riding!

Easter just wouldn’t be a holiday without a picture like this from Emily…

Ben LOVED the motorcycle so much, that he was quite unhappy when he had to give his sisters a turn…

Good thing Grandpa has a quad too… the smile came right back! This kid is ALL boy!

Nannie & Grandpa were pretty tired with all of the activities this weekend… We honestly don’t think Grandpa was even awake here! Thanks for having us, even though we’re exhausting!
