One of these days

I know one of these days soon I'm going to be on the move! For some reason, mommy keeps telling me not to rush it... I think she knows she's going to be even BUSIER when I'm moving around and getting into everything, but I can't wait (daddy can't either)!

Life is tough...

I learned a new trick! I can now pull myself up onto my knees when I'm sitting. I tried showing my mommy & daddy what I could do while I was sitting up in my crib, and I even got to show them how I could hang over the side & almost climb out! I thought it was pretty cool, but I guess they didn't think so... Can you believe what they did?? They lowered my mattress!!! Just when I thought I was figuring something out! Life it tough sometimes when you're a baby...

This tells the story of why my crib mattress had to get lowered... I GUESS I can see why...

Something got into me this morning...

This morning for breakfast I had some prunes & oatmeal. I used to take pride in the fact that I was such a clean eater, but something got into me, and I felt like having a messy morning... Don't you all have days like that sometimes???? You can really see my teeth now too!

It's off to Chicago now!

After my daddy drove out to Michigan to pick up my mommy & I, we all drove to Chicago for a visit at Mor-Mor's house. We had a great time! In one day, we went to the Shedd aquarium (my favorite was the dolphin show), the Field Museum (I slept through the dinosaur exhibit), AND the Adler planetarium (the light show we went to was SOO cool)!

After such a busy day, we went back downtown the next morning to walk the magnificient mile & do some shopping (well, I got to ride in my stroller), and we went up to the top of the John Hancock building. It was so clear, that mommy said we could even see her house from up there (but I thought it was too small to see anything)!

The next day was even better... mommy's friend Rachel threw her a baby shower, and I got to play with my buddy Drew!! I love that guy! We had a great trip to the midwest, but we're pretty tired now, so it's nice to be home & sleeping in my own crib again!

My trip to Michigan!

Sorry I have been away for so long, but my mom and I flew out to Michigan so I could meet my new baby cousin, Julia, and her sisters Megan and Alayna. We got to spend 2 whole weeks together & we had so much fun playing together (I even got dressed up like a PRINCESS!!!). I also got to see Grandpa Hawk's house... he lives on a pretty lake, and I got to ride on his paddleboat with mommy & daddy. Here are a few pictures from my trip. Oh yeah... I almost forgot... they are kind of hard to see in this these pictures, but can you find my TWO new teeth?!?!?!
