I LOVE to read books... Well, maybe I like sucking on them more right now, but someday I will really enjoy the story too!

I can walk...backwards!

I got a cool new walker today, but when my daddy put me in it, my feet wouldn't touch the ground (I guess it's just in the genes...). So, he did some measuring and figured out how to get it lower for me. As soon as my feet touched the ground, I took off walking... backwards!

4th of July

We went out to the Hamptons to celebrate the 4th of July. It rained that night, so I didn't get to see any fireworks, but I got to spend time with my Nannie, Grandpa, and Aunt Bridget!

Washington D.C. Trip

On the weekend before the fourth of July, my mommy, daddy, Cody and I all took a last-minute road trip to Washington D.C.. Daddy was the only one of us that had been there before, so he showed us all of the sites as we walked "the mall" on a beautiful day. The buildings were SO big & beautiful!

We also had a great time hanging out at the hotel, swimming, eating out at restaurants, and trying to capture a picture of the whole family (that took almost a whole afternoon)! I had a great time on my first real vacation!

I might just like this swimming thing after all!

We went swimming in the pool at the hotel in Columbia, Maryland, and I think I'm beginning to like it! I was even kicking my feet & putting my face in the water (that was an accident though, and I didn't like that as much)!
